Christmas Angels

Beth Reed and Angie Carter had the pleasure of shopping for a few Christmas angels from one of our local Wesley Chapel schools from the proceeds from our successful breakfast with Santa with GFWC Pasco Junior Woman's Club. Thank you to all the families that came out and supported this event making Christmas just a little bit happier for a few families. Another big thank you to Santa Paul Bartell!

Decorated a Hawaiian themed tree today over at Florida Hospital Zephyrhills. What a cool tradition, and I bet it looks gorgeous at night with trees lit up for all fifty states.

District 8 Safety Bear Project

Safety Bears 4 Kids' purpose is to bring hope and comfort to children in crisis by giving them a Safety Bear with a label telling them of God’s love and our daily prayer for them.

Donation to Ronald McDonald House

Recycling pot tabs to benefit the RMHC.

RMHC of Tampa Bay supports your recycling of pop tabs for the benefit of our program and value this donor activity by many community groups and individuals in and around Tampa Bay. 

You too can help:  Please bring your tabs to one of our four Houses for recycling, or if it’s more convenient, you may take them to your nearest recycler and have them issue us a check. 


Pasco Junior Woman's Club June Social

Pasco Junior Woman's Club providing dinner to the residents at Hope Lodge

The Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation Hope Lodge is a short-term residential facility designed to offer housing and support free of charge to any cancer patient who travels to the Tampa Bay area for treatment. While most of our residents receive treatment at Moffitt Cancer Center, we provide lodging for patients undergoing treatment at Tampa Bay area cancer centers.

The Pasco Junior Woman's Club was honored to provide the residents with crock pot dinners.  

Huge success!


Quarter Auction Fundraiser to provide Scholarships for Local Seniors

Pasco Junior Woman's Club held their annual quarter auction.  The money raised from this event will provide 2-3 scholarships to local high school seniors.  This was such a fun event.

District 8 spring workshop


Spring Convention

Pasco Junior Woman's Club attended the GFWC Spring Convention in Orlando.  Our club received over 15 awards for our community service work as well as a grant of $500 for us to donate to Camp Idewild (for autistic children) in Land 'o Lakes!!!

Scholarships

In May, our club was honored to award 2 Senior's from Wesley Chapel High School with a scholarship toward their future college attendance.  Congrats girls and good luck.


April 2017 - Supporting Brandon Junior Woman's Club

In April, Pasco Junior Woman's Club headed to Brandon to support the Brandon Junior Woman's Club.  We attended Bunco night.  This was a great time.  Some of our members won a couple of baskets.

In April, we headed to Brandon to Hamburger Mary's bingo to support our sister club Temple Terrace Junior Woman's Club.  We had a great time.





Rise Against Hunger

GFCW Pasco Junior Woman's Club joined GFWC with the Rise Against Hunger Project. 

Rise Against Hunger is an international hunger relief organization distributing meals to the world's most vulnerable communities.  GFWC Pasco Junior Woman's Club donated enough for 100 meals.

Celebrating Mother's at Sunrise

Celebrating mothers at sunrise. This was a great event.
This is a shelter for women and their children affected by domestic violence. We as a club collected jewelry and donated so that the kids could shop for their mom and single women could shop for themselves. We also provided mother's day cards and snacks.
This is a great group and we are making a difference in our community.

Pasco Junior Woman's Club will be hosting a make and take auction.

Location: Grand Oaks Subdivision Club House 25849 Firth Street, Land O Lakes, FL

A mexican dinner/social will be provided from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm. Then get ready to bid on prepared meals.

Bring 1 or more prepared meals or desserts, along with the recipe and everyone in attendance can bid on your meal(s) to take home to their family.

GFWC Pasco Junior Woman's Club Fundraising Night

PANERA BREAD FUNDRAISING:

Please help raise funds for GFWC Pasco Junior Woman's Club. Print and take the flyer to the Panera Bread located at 23388 State Road 54, Land o' Lakes, Florida 33549 on April 11, 2018 for dinner between 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and GFWC Pasco Junior Woman's Club will receive 20% of the sales. 

We are a group of like minded woman who give back to the community. With your help by having dinner at Panera Bread, we will be able to do more in our community.  

We hope that you will come out and support us.  Also, we are always looking for new members. 



March Meeting

We celebrated the Arts by decorating St. Patrick's Day sugar cookies.  Everyone had a good time and the cookies were delicious.
