Spreading Love To Our Veterans

The Baldomero Lopez State Veterans home takes care of 80 residents at their Land O'lakes location in Pasco County. The care takers of these residents are trying to bring cheer and activity to these veterans on a daily basis. As a small token of our gratitude, the Pasco Juniors created a hand made card for each resident for Valentine's Day. Since COVID restrictions limit visitors in the facility, these cards were distributed to the residents to spread the love.

Kicks For Kids at Pasco Middle School

In October of 2021, the members of Pasco Juniors donated over 40 pairs of shoes and 100 pairs of socks to Pasco Elementary School. This donation resulted in a state wide challenge winning, and encouraged additional donations. This month, the Pasco Juniors were able to deliver 33 new pairs of shoes and 6 packs of socks to support their children in need.

Metropolitan Ministries Spreading Joy For Christmas

Several Pasco Juniors' members were able to volunteer their time this holiday season to help families in the Dade City are celebrate the holidays. Throughout the day, cars poured into the small local outreach center at Restored Hope in Dade City. Each car representing a family in need of food and gifts to celebrate Christmas. Our volunteers helped these families receive a full meal kit, including a full size turkey, and 2 gifts for each child in the household. 

Metropolitan Ministries at Restored Hope in Dade City needs volunteers year around for their services provided at no cost to their program participants. Volunteers help shop with families in their food pantry, and clothes closet, along with directing them to showers and laundry services as well. Find out more at restoredhopefl.org.
